In honor of National Running Day today, I ran in place among other crazy things called 'suicides' - anything named 'suicides' can't be good for anyone's health... - during an Insanity workout. Can't say I'm die hard like the other runners around the nation that woke up prior to 6:00 am to meet up with all their peeps for an early celebratory run, but I did suicides dang it! Doesn't that count for anything? I hope you were able to get out and celebrate the joy of running in your own way today, and cheers to health and fitness!

I had the most delicious salad tonight from Babica Hen and you either need to make it or go try it because it's delicious. Here's what you need:

1. Leafy greens
2. Cantaloupe
3. Goat Cheese
4. Shredded ham
5. Mint
6. Light drizzle of a berry vinaigrette 

This is a delightful, healthy salad on a summer evening with a chilled glass of pinot gris and so easy to make!

I have to say, as of late with stress on the rise, and the to-do list increasing I'm forgetting to smile. This is something so simple that can not only affect my own attitude but can pass on joy to others in mere seconds.

Today was my first day pouring wine at Stoller Family Estate. Rolling hills of vineyards as a backdrop and Mount Hood peering back at me in the distance, I couldn't imagine a better place to be working this summer. So that being said, I thought wearing all black would be a safe bet to guard against any potential red wine stains (showing at least!).

So if you're out tasting, make sure you stop by and say hi!

Today is the first time I've worn this top during my project. It's the type of top that I always feel like I have to try hard to wear with an outfit, but when I decided to finally pull it out of the closet it didn't take as much effort as I had anticipated. Sometimes it's just a matter of pulling it out of the closet...
