Today started out with some good grub from a Ma & Pa local diner, The Cow Belle. It was nothing fancy, but it didn't need to be. We then hopped over a couple tiny, oceanside towns to the Tillamook Cheese Factory, and the Blue Heron French Cheese Company for some savory wine accompanied by a delicate cheese plate. Amidst the endless shelves of wine at the local country shop, there was a cool new wine accessory I've never seen before. It's a long tube filled with gel that freezes, and has a rubber top that also pours out the wine. Then you can chill the wine in the bottle without watering it down or getting the outside of the bottle soaked. I can't seem to find one online to show you a picture, but they're really cool and you should get one! Or not and say you did. Either way, someone out there is really smart.
