Among the Vines. Any time an event is called Among the Vines, you can sign me up. This says to me, sophisticated, elegant, intriguing. I had the opportunity to work an event called Among the Vines, pouring wine for a lunch and vineyard tour for members and non-members deep in Stoller's Vineyards. It was a sweltering day, the rose was slowing like - well - wine... and our vineyard manager, Rob, was there to tell more about the vines, the soil, and most importantly, the grapes!
Once everyone was back from the tour, their glasses refilled, the smoker was opened to reveal an entire pig. Between a smoked pig, home-made world-class mole sauce, rice, and beans, an authentic lunch was served, vines and Mount Hood in view.
