Though I don't have my soccer clothes on in this pic, I was able to play a crazy game of indoor soccer with the Mountain Park Youth Group for exercise and entertainment purposes. Since it had been so long, I found myself refreshed, energized, very sweaty..., and laughing like crazy! Fortunately, other than a giant blister on one student and a jammed toe for one of the leaders, the game ended with no major injuries - always a plus for a youth group event! It's important to find ways to have fun doing the simple pleasure in life and soccer is one of them for me.
PS-Yes that is a cheesy plastic, fabulous, pink flamingo in the background. No big deal.
