With only a half day left of work today, we got to celebrate a week of hard work with some time on the beach! The only thing getting in our way was a BBQ grill. That's right, a grill. Confused? So were we. In fact what we were mostly confused about was WHY in the world was it in the middle of the freeway...It all happened so fast, and being in the caravan, our first two vans, though needing to react quickly, were able to swerve out of the way. However our third van was unable to stop in time, therefore creating a little fender bender with van number 2. It turned out that the BBQ fell out of some guy's truck in the middle of the freeway. Not ideal.

Each driver reacted as quickly as possible so there was no way of avoiding the inevitable. They're called accidents for a reason. Fortunately it was only a minor accident and we were still able to spend time on the beach.

While on the beach, our time was filled with wave jumping, ultimate volleyball (a game we made up), soccer, bocci ball, and grilling. Though the clouds were between us and the sun, many of us still managed to get burned!

With salt in my hair, and everywhere else for that matter, I managed to have a very fun day.
