love. Love is complex. Love has many layers. Love can control the depth of one's being. Love does not accept no for an answer. Love is peace, yet love can be a wrecking ball, tearing through the limbs, souls, minds, and hearts of those deprived of "it." Love reciprocates love. Love, the absence or presence of it, is felt for one's entire life. Love or the lack-there-of can be what one lets define who one is.
But yet true love, raw love, real love, cannot be mastered in this life time.
Perfect love is only from God.
It's hard to compare my minimal ability and attempts to love to a standard such as God's...but yet to have that standard can only lead to improved relationships, continuous self-evaluation, and ultimately - change.
What is love? Who is your standard? How are you defined by love?
