Plaid. It's all the rave. Everyone is wearing it. Men, women, your mom. You can dress it up or nerd it down and It. Looks. Gooooooood. It's what I like to call timeless. Mountain men were wearing them while chopping large pieces of wood in the early 1900's. (I just made that fact up). Regardless, it's not going away, so embrace it while it's not too late.
In all seriousness, if you're a chic, you should wear plaid that's fitted around the waist. The purpose for a fitted plaid shirt is so that the horizontal and vertical lines narrow your waist line. I use the drawstring on my jacket to do just that. Otherwise, our plaid will make us look boxy and no one wants to look boxy...
It's Sunday, so my fingers are going to rest.
Check in tomorrow, as Makeover Monday will be kicking off with none other than Courtney Rogers representing Human Beauty and myself! We will be partnering together to show you a whole look every Monday. Each outfit will be paired with a makeup look to match, showing you how to complete the whole look.
See you tomorrow!
